ABOUT US

At the heart of Comboyne Avocados is family. Four generations have lovingly tended to our property, each one passing on their skill, knowledge and deep passion for the land to the next.

Family-owned and operated by Kevin & Robyn Debreceny, the farm is a 51-hectare property that was first selected by Kevin’s great grandfather in 1904. During its 120 year long history, it has operated as a dairy farm, then later a large scale potato farm as well as running beef cattle.

Located in the picturesque hinterland of Port Macquarie NSW, Comboyne is 600 metres above sea level and is a lush patchwork of green pastures and rolling hills. Boasting a temperate climate, reliable rainfall and rich volcanic soil, its enviable growing conditions have allowed Comboyne to emerge as one of the country’s premier avocado producing areas.

Operating since 2000, Comboyne Avocados has 6,000 trees, primarily producing the ever-popular Hass variety.

The farm has evolved in so many ways since 1904; various livestock, different crops, technological advancements and so forth.

And yet, not so much has changed. For us, farming still – and always has been – about the satisfaction that comes from caring for the land and working together to grow beautiful, fresh produce to be shared with other Australian families.

From our farm gate to your fork, we hope you enjoy the fruits of our labour.
